The following is a collection of projects that for one reason or another, did not make the cut to be displayed on the home page. That said, I still really enjoyed working on these, and I wanted to share them here!
This is a prospective redesign of a book cover for the novel Life of Pi. I focused primarily on imagery in this design and manipulated the form of a tiger to portray the themes of duality and illusion that are present throughout the novel.
This is a digital banner created for a comics and graphic novel workshop I took in the fall of 2021.
This poster was created for and displayed in AIGA Toledo’s “BINGE: 2019 Television Poster Show.” The event was a fundraiser for AIGA Toledo, and funds raised during the event were used to give back to the community through design related programs.
This is a prospective redesign of a book cover for the novel The Snow Fell Three Graves Deep. I chose to represent the central imagery within a flame in an effort to create a visual representation of the hunger that drives the Donner party to make the decisions that they did.
This package design is centered around Glass Half Full, and imaginary organic ice cream company. In this design, I incorporated the imagery of an ice cream cone into a cow head in the primary logo, and employed the use of bright colors in the packaging to portray a cheerful, homemade brand.
This is a magazine that I created with the intent of exercising my skills in Adobe InDesign while showcasing a topic that I love. While designing this project I attempted to create a layout that allows the photography, most of which was downloaded from the National Park Service’s website, to take center stage.
